Announced on 16 June, 2010 on the release of two research reports on engineered nanomaterials.
 
This review reports an evaluation of 50 Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and 15 labels for products containing Engineered Nanomaterials (ENM).1
The evaluation considers how information on current ENM MSDS and labels reflects the state-of knowledge in regard to the hazards, risks and controls.
The report provides an assessment of the relevance, accuracy and context of the information presented on the evaluated MSDS & labels for the protection of health and safety in the workplace.

1)     Announcement on approved certification application for PCB-contaminated waste electrical machinery

·        To promote the appropriate treatment of PCB waste, the MOE implemented a certification system for the businesses detoxifying waste electrical machinery contaminated by a small amount of PCB using sophisticated technologies in compliance with Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law.
